Nikhil’s love for music started when he was a toddler. As he grew, his passion for music grew too. He knew that he wanted to create music for the rest of his life even before he finished high school. Having enrolled himself in the School of Audio Engineering, Bombay, he studied with hunger. After college, quietly learned the tools of trade under P. Balaraman. Following this, he flew to Dubai to work with SLS Production. And finally, a year later, he returned to his home town, Cochin, in the scenic state of Kerala, to join hands with his father in starting Freddy’s Audio Video Garage.

A veteran in the industry, P. Balaraman was an IIFA award winner in 2005. Silent by nature, his quiet way of doing things is echoed in his professional life also. He passed out from the Pune Film Institute as a gold medal winner and has since then been the backbone in setting up acoustics across numerous studios across India. He is a mentor to many in the industry and the mastermind behind several unique & historic light and sound shows such as the famous show in Amer Palace, Rajasthan. The final surround mixing for the same was done in Freddy’s AVG over a course of 6 months, involving many artists. He currently resides in Mumbai and pursues his passion there.
